These freshly formed, thick patties with my choice of fresh toppings, served with a mound of freshly cut fries just make my day...
 ~~ I was first introduced to Foster’s Grille while working in luxury travel in a small office in Vienna, just off of Courthouse Road. I thought I had died and gone to burgers-and-fries heaven! These freshly formed, thick patties with my choice of fresh toppings, served with a mound of freshly cut fries just made my day. Add to that a thick chocolate milkshake… okay, so I ate and drank 3 days worth of fat and calories in one sitting, but Foster’s was always worth wearing stretch pants for! I was beyond excited when they opened here in Ashburn, as a matter of fact, I don’t think I told my family right away- I wanted my first visit to be just me, a good book, my burger, fries with malt vinegar, and private joy with each bite. I know, I know, I need therapy for food obsession issues… But I feel that good when I eat a Charburger here. The prices are quite reasonable given the quality of everything on the menu- try the fresh lemonade and it feels like you’re drinking summer. Foster’s Grille in Ashburn is comfortably decorated with sports & old time diner paraphernalia and is already on its way toward the same feeling as the older Vienna location: hometown advertisers on the tabletops, regulars drinking a beer watching sports or the news at the bar. The manager, Ted, has gone out of his way to provide superior customer service to me and my family - yes I finally told them!) On one visit, I ordered a Charburger medium well and with grilled onions, & it came out well done and with no onions. The waitress checked back quickly after dropping off our burgers and I let her know the problem and asked for a new burger. Not only was the new burger delivered quickly and correctly, Ted came over to the table, acknowledged my son- I love when the managers address him!- and apologized for the error. He took it off the bill, AND gave me a card for a free burger on my next visit. He went above and beyond what was necessary to correct the problem, and I’ve never forgotten his hospitality. Children’s little league teams can have parties here, adult softball teams can ice their knees here after a game, and anyone who appreciates a great burger and fries will become a familiar face at Foster’s Grille. They also serve wings, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and even salads here, and one day, I may just get around to trying them. Well- if someone else at the table orders it and I take a bite... But there is no way I could ever leave Foster’s Grille without my gratifying comfort food- a Charburger and fries. Pass the malt vinegar, because~ Foster’s Grille Passes with Flying Colors!
