Since I am still 20 pounds from my “desserts welcome” weight, I decided to let The Boy review a hunk of deliciousness from this place. Then I caught a whiff of that chocolaty cake and decided that one teeny little bite was worth an extra mile of walking- where’s my fork?? ~~~  Edibles Incredible is a bakery that allows you sin in small portions with individual slices of decadent desserts. I simply LOVE this concept- why waste money on one big sheet cake when you can have a wedge of White Chocolate & Raspberry, AND a piece of Red Velvet AND a hunk of Lemon Sublime? No one needs to eat a ton of dessert anymore- the chic way to eat dessert is in small bites! (And if it takes 50 bites to satisfy, then so be it…) Our hunk of heaven was the Black & White Cake- imagine a Black & White cookie transformed into dense, rich chocolate cake partnered with a creamy confection of white frosting layers. The Boy was basically speechless- all he mumbled between bites was “mmm- MMM! It’s like a black and white cookie, but better, cuz it’s cake, and- oh- I don’t know- YOU’RE Aphioni- YOU describe it!” Thank you son, for that eloquent contribution. So you see- I would have had to try the cake anyway… Just the right stiffness in the icing contrasted against melt-in-your-mouth crumbs of choco-love… I am SO glad I can take one bite and be happy, otherwise I would have already outgrown my stretch pants. This cheerful, welcoming place smells exactly like I imagined Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory would smell- sweet scents of butter cream and vanilla, the rich aroma of cocoa… I gained a pound through inhalation alone. I was drawn in by the small town feeling here- a bright smile greeted me from behind vast array of edibles that looked- well- INCREDIBLE. I got the feeling they were proud to vouch for every item they served and were eager to share their passion for perfection with me and my thighs! Ummm- thanks???? Cake, cupcakes, fudge, candies, truffles- maybe I should send my skinny friends here- if they get a little bigger then I look little smaller! GENIUS! I realize that a review about cake dang near writes itself, so I don't have to convince you to visit theis Brambleton gem. If you want a special treat to celebrate an occasion, or need an interesting twist on your dinner party desserts, or are simply homesick for homemade, take a stroll to this delightful bakery.
