French Cuisine
This is the Little Restaurant That Could (we hope!). This French restaurant opened in an unusual place - in a strip mall's end suite where Jerry's Subs used to be. What it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for with unpretentious, healthy French cuisine.
We've been there a few times and each dish we've tried has been a delight: fresh, high quality ingredients and an attention to detail (beef bourguignon, filet mignon, grilled salmon with shellfish sauce, and desserts to die for). Their chef cooks as though he's in an upscale restaurant so this really is a hidden gem. Last night we were told their liquor license has just come through so they'll be offering wine and beer shortly.
I'm sure when they planned their opening last fall they had no idea the economy would tank so horribly. I hope the word gets out about how good their food is so they're able to hang in here long enough to get their toes around a limb. It's a sweet little family run place that deserves a chance.
